These are some of the other computer programs I have designed or helped design. I prefer designing user interfaces much more than coding. To download any of the programs on this page, click the executable (.exe) file links. I recommend that you save them to your computer first and then run them.

The Student Transcript Manager is a program designed to keep track of a student's classes and grades for various semesters. The design theme behind this program is "Do not hide anything." All the features are seen, with no hidden windows, to simplify what is to be expected.  The total number of hours and Grade point averages for each semester are calculated. Each student's file can be saved to a text file and loaded later.
"Tales From the Cryptogram" is a simple cryptogram puzzle-solving tool.  A user types in any letter in the puzzle, followed by a letter not in the puzzle.  The letters typed in are remembered if needed for recollection later.  The user can enter an encrypted message of his or her own, or they can choose from one of nine preset puzzles.  A user can also include up to three "hints" to aid the player.  The hints are hidden when the puzzle starts, and can be shown at any time.

Multiple Choice Quiz
I designed a simple multiple-choice quiz program in C for a programming design course. In a text window, the program would ask random questions with four possible answers. The user would type in a, b, c, or d to answer the question.
QBasic Slot Machine
The first major program I created was a visual slot machine program in high school, using QBasic. Quite simply, slots on the screen would change colors repeatedly until the user pressed a key to randomly stop the slots on a single color. The user would play until they got three slots of the same color, thus winning the game, based on luck (or at least the pseudo-random sequence used).
"Four Point Oh" is a computer program designed for high school and college students that acts as an organizational tool and study aid. This was the main project for my Human-Computer Interaction class. The emphasis was geared toward the requirements analysis and prototype design, rather than the final coding, so the program is not fully coded. However, my group partner Brad Nunnaly hard coded some examples of what the program would be intended for. The program offers sections for notes, classes, grades, links, and a calendar. The program also features the ability to link to a PDA or cell phone.
