Living at Bluff Hall
After my "lucky days" at Cougar Village, with a clean apartment all to myself, I knew that things were going to have to make a turn for the worse. And they did that fall, when I moved into Bluff Hall. Enter the Fall 2004 Season - Living in the "Tech Wing" of Bluff Hall with a wild bunch of techno-freaks. Enter the roommate Brad, and the suitemates, Ryan and Jeff.
I would like you all to read an e-mail I received from Ryan before I moved in. I had simply e-mailed him, asking him if he had been in the residence halls before, and if so, what they were like. The response I got was a foreshadowing of my inevitable doom...
| Yes I did live in the Residence Halls last semester. Just down the hall from where we are going to be at this coming semester. Jeff and Brad are both going to be in the same rooms as they were. We were originally planning to have a guy named Goldberg living with us be he got kicked out due to his outstanding grades. We were planning on moving the desks into one room and the beds into another because we thought it would be sweet. If we did end up doing it, you would have to agree. Brad, Jeff, and I are all going to be part of the move in crew so we will be moving in a day earlier than you. The res halls are kinda cool i guess. I hate the whole ID swiping and having to check guests in. The [quiet] hours are gay. Especially in our wing because we have Mandy. Mandy is the wing bitch. She is usually the biggest bitch in the world. It didn't come out right away this last year but by the end, wow. Our RA is Mike he is awesome. He lives by St. Anthony's Hospital. He will let you get away alot of things. All three of us are into playing computer games. Jeff for some reason is obsessed with nethack. Brad plays rpg's such as KotoR and Ultima Online. I like playing strategy and first person shooters. We like going to White Castle at 3 in the morning. Brad and Jeff last semester usually stayed up quite late, like 4 am, but I went to bed earlier. This semester however I don't have class until 1:30 most days so I will probably be staying up later. We also like to drink. I drink Popov, Bush, or Bud. Brad drinks whiskey usually. Jeff drinks whatever he can get his hands on. I don't smoke but Brad and Jeff do and frequently go to Fairview for cigars. Brad and Jeff are both unique. Jeff is for some reason obsessed with dead hookers. Its very strange, very f***ed up, but then again he is f***ed up. Brad is, Brad I really can't describe him. Me and Goldberg f***ed with Brad a lot last semester. We took his mattress a couple of times and hid his stuff a lot. ... |
Okay, with that out of the way, HEEEERRRRRREEE's Bluff Hall!
