Youmacon 2008
In October 2008, I attended my first anime convention at Youmacon. It's located in Dearborn, MI at the Hyatt Regency hotel. I had a blast!

| This is Kyle Hebert, a well known voice actor in anime. He is most well known as the voice of teen Gohan in Dragonball Z. I got this picture after I got his autograph. | A look at 5 voice actors and 1 audience participant (left) at "Voice Actor Radio." These voice actors acted out an old radio sketch using scripts from Flash Gordon. The improv was hilarious! |

| Welcome to Otaku Family Feud! My friend Nikolai answered enough qualifying round questions to get our team into the game! | My team is on the left, and the opposing team is on the right. Each team was paired with a voice actor - we had Caitlin Glass and the other team had Patrick Seitz. |

| Getting down to the wire... we made it to the final round, but we lost to the opposing team. | We were known as "Team Oh Yes" due to the "Oh Yes" cakes my friends oh so enjoyed. (This odd team quirk is related to a tradition which would take too long to explain here. :P) |
